Cynthia is a current Pharmacy Practice Resident (PGY-1) in Denver, Colorado. She is originally from Kenya, East Africa, and thus has a deep passion for serving underserved populations, immigrants, patients living with HIV, and tropical medicine.
So far, she has had pharmacy practice experiences in a rural government hospital in her home country of Kenya, pharmaceutical research, antimicrobial stewardship, inpatient pharmacy, and ambulatory practice settings.
On her off-time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two golden retrievers, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, painting, making jewelry, sewing, or doing anything that allows her to express her creativity in a meaningful way.
